Policy Brief: Food Security and Nutrition in Kyrgyzstan: Problems and Possible Solutions

The United Nations system in Kyrgyzstan, in cooperation with the Institute of Public Policy and Administration of the University of Central Asia, presents a policy brief based on the outcomes of a multi-stakeholder dialogue with the Government of Kyrgyzstan, development partners, academia, private sector and civil society. The brief outlines the current situation and trends in national policies on food security and nutrition and suggests multiple recommendations for improving such policies from economic, health, environmental, social, nutrition and other perspectives.
