Call for proposals to support and capacitate the Ombudsperson’s Office in monitoring, reporting and advocating for rights-based approaches in climate action and protecting the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment

The UN Human Rights Office for Central Asia (OHCHR ROCA), within the EU-funded project “Support to the National Preventive Mechanism and the Ombudsperson of the Kyrgyz Republic”, is launching a Call for Proposals for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

Purpose: Strengthening the capacity of the Ombudsperson’s Office of Kyrgyzstan to monitor, report, and advocate for rights-based approaches in climate action and the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.

Duration of the project: 8 months (September 2025 - April 2026). 

This grant will support budgets no more than $50,000.
