VOLUNTARY NATIONAL REVIEW 2025

The Kyrgyz Republic successfully presented its Second Voluntary National Review (VNR) at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The Review places particular emphasis on poverty reduction, modernization of the social protection system, development of human capital, digitalization, support for vulnerable groups, and sustainable economic growth. It highlights notable progress in the digital transformation of public services, the expansion of renewable energy, improved access to education and healthcare, as well as the promotion of gender equality principles.

The Review also addresses measures for environmental protection, climate change adaptation, and the advancement of a “green economy.” The principle of “Leaving No One Behind” runs as a cross-cutting theme across all areas of national policy.

The Kyrgyz Republic reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international cooperation, sharing its accumulated experience, and continuing the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in partnership with all stakeholders.
